Sarah has nine years of experience working at the top London sixth form Brampton College as the lead university consultant, where a high percentage of students go on to Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge. In addition, Sarah has been an independent university consultant since 2013.
She specialises in applications to Medical, Dentistry and Veterinary schools helping potential doctors, dentists and vets to navigate their final university decisions. Taking a personalised approach, Sarah makes sure that all students are ambitious with their university applications and encourages them to aim high whilst being realistic. Sarah also supports students with SEN or mitigating circumstances, making sure they are correctly represented to the universities.
It is important that students feel confident in their decisions, and Sarah can also help with alternatives to university. Whether it is early career choices, apprenticeships, internships or graduate schemes, she has experience introducing the many opportunities available.
Educated at Sherborne School for Girls in Dorset, Sarah left to work for ten years in industry, including a four-year spell in Spain before going to university. In 1994 she graduated from UCL with a degree in Modern Iberian and Latin American Studies, and went on to be a journalist with Associated Press Television News. After starting her family, Sarah went back to university in 2011 to qualify with an MSc in Careers Guidance and has been a University Consultant ever since.
