Sarah has worked with Ivy Education for twelve years as an independent consultant, whilst maintaining the role as careers and university adviser at top independent London sixth form Brampton College for ten years. The majority of students go on to leading UK universities such as Oxbridge, UCL, LSE, Imperial, and KCL and all the Russell Group. She supports students with applications to a broad range of degrees including Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary schools, and helps students to make strategic choices, taking UCAT results into account. Sarah also ensures that students with any SEN or mitigating circumstances are correctly represented to universities.
With an MSc in Careers Guidance, Sarah’s expertise is in ensuring that students are confident in their decisions, whether it be subject choices from GCSE onwards or looking at alternatives to university. She has experience with introducing students to the many opportunities available including early career choices, apprenticeships, degree apprenticeships, internships and graduate schemes.
Educated at Sherborne School for Girls in Dorset, Sarah worked for ten years in industry, including a four-year spell in Spain before going to university. In 1994 she graduated from UCL with a degree in Modern Iberian and Latin American Studies and went on to be a journalist with Associated Press Television News. After starting her family, Sarah went back to university in 2011 to qualify with an MSc in Careers Guidance and then more recently in 2023 obtained a Diploma in Transformational Coaching.
