Hugh is a final year PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge having completed first-class masters and undergraduate degrees at the University of Oxford.
For ten years, he has been guiding students and their families through the university application process. He specialises in the humanities; matching students with their desired subject and university, supporting personal statement writing, and preparing them for interview and subject tests. He also works with students in their final two years of school, developing their ability to think, read, and write critically in ways that prepare them not only to succeed in their A-Level and IB examinations but beyond. Hugh has mentored a number of students in History, English, PPE, and HSPS to places at Oxbridge in the UK and prestigious liberal arts colleges in the US.
