Rahul is an experienced academic tutor and admissions consultant specialising in English, humanities, and critical writing across the UK and US education systems. With over 5,000 hours of tutoring experience, he works with students to develop clarity of thought, analytical rigour, and confident written expression.
Rahul supports students through UK independent school admissions, GCSEs, A-Levels, the International Baccalaureate, and competitive UK and US university applications. Rahul’s teaching focuses on structured thinking and high-level writing, helping students move beyond formulaic answers towards nuanced, original arguments.
Rahul holds a BA with Highest Distinction (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Film Directing from the London Film School, where his thesis film was shortlisted for the Academy Awards. His background in narrative and storytelling strongly informs his approach to academic writing and personal statements.
