She has also worked with tuition consultancies on Oxbridge interview and assessment days, giving her experience not only supporting individual applicants but also contributing to structured admissions programmes at scale.
Mia specialises in Oxbridge admissions and interview preparation, with particular expertise in Economics and related Social Science subjects. Her experience spans the full application process, including university and course strategy, personal statement development, academic preparation, super-curricular development, interview technique and intensive mock interview preparation.
Her interview preparation is informed by a database of approximately 200 past Cambridge interview questions, which she uses to create targeted and realistic preparation tailored to each student. Rather than relying on generic interview practice, Mia focuses on developing the student's ability to reason through unfamiliar problems, respond to academic questioning, communicate ideas clearly and engage critically with new material.
Mia has conducted Oxbridge Mock interviews across Economics, Economics & Management, PPE, Law and Land Economy, giving her experience with a broad range of academic disciplines and interview styles. She also believes there is significant value in exposing applicants to interviewers from different academic backgrounds, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of many Oxbridge interviews.
Mia brings first-hand experience of the Cambridge admissions process, having successfully applied to and fulfilled her offer to study Land Economy. She received interview scores of 9/10, 10/10, 10/10 and 10/10 from Jesus College, Cambridge, achieving an average interview score of 9.75/10.
Alongside her university admissions work, Mia has over five years of tutoring experience across GCSE, A Level and university admissions preparation.
