Cristina holds a BA in Sociology from Hobart & William Smith Colleges, a MS in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the College Counseling Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has completed extensive professional development in university admissions counseling, student interviewing, and motivational interviewing–based coaching. Her work focuses on helping students develop clarity, agency, and realistic application strategies, while also supporting parents in understanding outcomes, timelines, and fit.
In addition to one-on-one counseling, Cristina has significant experience building the operational and communication systems that underpin effective admissions advising. This includes designing CRM workflows, developing parent-facing guides and expectation-setting materials, structuring counseling programs, and creating processes that ensure consistency and scalability across teams. She has led and trained counselors and support staff, and is accustomed to working collaboratively within multidisciplinary education teams.
Cristina maintains an active network of university admissions representatives across the US and Canada, built through years of institutional outreach, public speaking, conference attendance, school partnerships, and ongoing professional engagement, and intends to continue doing so in support of her work in the UK.
