About Your Application

At Ivy Education we pride ourselves on the calibre of tutor we work with. Often our tutors have prior experience teaching in top schools or have made their career out of tutoring, or both. All our tutors are degree educated and are frequently alumnus of top universities.

We have high expectations of our tutors, asking that they communicate often and clearly with us and with our clients, that they are professionals, and that they love what they teach.

We ask our tutors to:

  • Develop lesson plans and track the progress of their students
  • Deliver monthly reports for each of their students, to be shared with our team and clients
  • Uphold Ivy Education’s Safeguarding Policy, which includes being registered on the DBS Update Service
  • Keep abreast of curriculum or entrance exam changes, so that they remain experts in their areas
  • Commit to at least a year of working with us.

Steps to Apply

Once you’ve read about what it is like to tutor with us, you are welcome to begin your application by filling out the form below. You will need a current CV, one professional reference and one client reference, and the right to work in the UK to apply to work with us.

*This is a legal requirement to tutor with us, includes tutoring online or remotely. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or accept applications from international students on Tier 4 visas.

Documentation

You should have one professional reference and two client references. All references should speak to your professionalism, reliability, time management, ability to plan effectively, and, where possible, your subject knowledge.
