Joe has built a wide range of knowledge and experiences through his academic studies and 11 years working in education. He has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education specialising in Foreign Languages at Keele University and has worked in a variety of roles within education, consistently setting high standards for both his students and himself as an educator. Starting as a class teacher in Primary Schools and later moving into the independent sector to work in preparatory schools, he has helped many children prepare for assessments and built a good understanding of how to support each individual child in achieving their best. He particularly enjoys helping students to access 7+, 8+ and 11+ assessments through bolstering key skills in Maths and English, along with an understanding of the types of questions involved in verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Joe fully appreciates the importance of these exams for those involved, and takes great personal reward in building confidence and positivity towards them for those with whom he works.
In 2019, Joe obtained a Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Education with Distinction at King’s College London. Building upon his practical experiences, his dissertation focused on curriculum and assessment design, furthering his theoretical understanding of these topics. Joe has lived in independent boarding schools for the last 4 years, helping students within the boarding school, and families within central London, to prepare for exams effectively. His experience in a wide range of exam preparation, along with his academic qualifications, allows Joe to offer a clear and informed analysis of each individual situation, providing support and recommendations to those he works with.
