Jake

Tutor

Jake is a young, dynamic and enthusiastic tutor with a track record of helping young people achieve their potential in a variety of subjects. He believes that with the right, individual approach to studying everyone can gain academic success and have fun doing it. Outside of tuition, he has been taking part in charity work in the UK and abroad, focusing mainly on academic and theatre teaching, prior to starting his MA in September.

Jake

Jake has been tutoring ever since he finished my GCSE's at 16; he has always found developing students’ ability, and seeing them improve in exams, to be a hugely rewarding experience.

He has successfully prepared 7+, 8+, 11+ & 13+ students towards the top independent schools including Harrow, Uppingham, Eton, The Royal Hospital School and CRGS to name a few. He has also prepared many GCSE students in Maths, English, History & Sciences, including year-long weekly programmes and bespoke 'crash course' revision courses. In addition, he also assists A Level History and Economic students who are writing their UCAS personal statements and completing coursework.

Most recently, he writes and delivers online tuition courses for Ivy Education to great success, consistently receiving excellent feedback.

The tutoring is going very well at the moment. I was worried that it would not work so well over Skype, but my son seems to enjoy it. He especially likes Jake which is, of course, a huge plus.
