Mark has been involved in education for over 5 years, having started out in the legal profession as a solicitor. Having taken time out to live in Hong Kong, Mark discovered his passion for teaching whilst working as an English language teacher in a range of primary schools across Hong Kong. He pursued his PGCE via distanced learning during his time at an English Curriculum School. Since returning to the UK, Mark continued his teaching career at the Independent School, Park School for Girls, London.
Mark discovered early on the importance of an individualised approach to teaching and learning. Working with such a diverse and broad range of children he knows only too well the importance of adapting and tailoring the approach for each child. Having worked in the private sector with high expectations from all stakeholders, Mark is acutely aware of the demands placed on children during the examination process and draws on this experience to nurture and develop each child, to conquer this challenge with confidence and enthusiasm.
