Henry was an academic scholar at Eton College and was first globally in the Pre-U (A-level equivalent) Mandarin Chinese exams. He then graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master’s degree in ‘Chinese with Japanese.’

After graduating, Henry worked for four years as a secondary school Chinese and French teacher in London, gaining his Qualified Teacher Status. He has also taught English in China and Taiwan. Since then, he has been working full-time as a tutor and education consultant, helping students gain places at over 40 of the UK’s top schools and universities.

Henry teaches 11+, 13+, Chinese, Japanese, French, Latin and English as a Second Language. He also helps students prepare for Oxbridge admissions, including personal statement work, interview preparation and admissions tests. As a consultant, he runs workshops on school entrance exams, produces academic assessment reports, advises families on school selection, accompanies families on school tours, organises extra-curricular activities and does Chinese interpreting for education agencies.
