"I’d like to thank you (and everyone else at Ivy) for the last few months. Having worked with a number of other tutoring agencies, Ivy has been by far the most supportive, reliable and professional and I’m grateful for all the lovely clients I’ve had since September. I will, of course, recommend you to anyone looking for tutoring work and I hope to work with you again in the future. Please pass my thanks on to the rest of the office!"
" It was really nice to meet you too, thanks for arranging that I found it really helpful as sometimes you can feel quite alone and underprepared tutoring even when you have your lesson plan. It was nice to hear other people speaking about it, Michael’s takeaways for how to be effective were really useful so thanks!"
"Can’t thank you and the team enough, for all the support and real professionalism. Absolutely first class. Ivy is a superb agency, because of it."
"To all at Ivy tutors, thank you so so much for your flexibility – I love tutoring for such an efficient agency. I’m hoping to carry on tutoring Z when I return – I’ll keep in touch. Thank you again so much."
"I would also like to say that I have been really impressed with Ivy Education – I have worked with many agencies, but none of them nearly as good when it comes to supporting both tutors and parents. I was also impressed with the thorough vetting process, as well as the feedback from the agency and the general support. In addition, I have never once had to call up to hassle someone to get paid – the payment arrived on time every month."
"I just wanted to take a moment to say how pleased I am to be working for Ivy Education, and how impressed I am with its work. Over the last few years I’ve worked for various tutoring agencies and had a range of issues, including late payments, lack of communication and support and job descriptions that are nowhere near the real task! There’s never been a hint of this with Ivy; you are the only agency I know of that actively checks up on how things are going with tutors as well as clients, and it’s such a breath of fresh air! Eliza in particular has been really helpful and seems to always be in a good mood! I’m really impressed with the “Tutoring for All” initiative and the pay structure you offer – you’re certainly the first agency I would recommend."
"This experiences has reminded me why I started training to teach years ago as the pupils are motivated, engaged and passionate about learning in smaller groups. They appreciate how lucky they are to have extra tuition and it shows in the effort they put into each session. This in turn has motivated my planning to benefit their learning, be engaging and to target gaps in their learning. I would recommend more qualified teachers to explore and support tutoring as an alternative way to advance education."
"Things are going really well at St Joseph’s; I really like it here. There’s a great ethos and James has been super supportive. He also gives me positive feedback weekly which is motivating. The children are also making great steps to improvement so I am thoroughly happy."
"The children inspired me, too. They both dived in with a smile and complete friendliness and maturity. Didn’t feel like teacher / pupil dynamic at all. They were just both absolutely great and very pleasant to be around, and I’d happily help them out anytime."
"I just want to thank you ever so much for the faith you put in me initially as a tutor, and the excellent opportunities, families and individual students you have exposed me to. I can very honestly say that tutoring has had a major impact on my life, and I often found myself most happy when tutoring! It’s a really incredible thing you have going at Ivy."
"All children should be entitled to receive the best possible education and it has been extremely fulfilling to work with pupils of all backgrounds, many of whom would not be in a position to pay for a private tutor without the financial support of the Pupil Premium funds."
