Director of Education

Christopher Adams is the Director of Education at Ivy Education. He is on hand to provide you with the best educational support and consultancy services that the United Kingdom has to offer.

He has extensive knowledge of the UK education system, as well as the International Baccalaureate, and working with clients transitioning from other systems to the UK. He is passionate about connecting you with exemplary tutors who combine expert subject knowledge with the ability to build great rapport with students and parents alike.

He graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Classics and Modern Languages (French) and, before joining Ivy Education, tutored for over ten years across the globe. As well as a year teaching English in Paris to students aged from 3-18 years old, he has worked in Rome, Morocco, Israel, Dubai, Ukraine, Sweden, and across London. Working particularly with those studying for their GCSEs and A Levels, Christopher helps students achieve better grades fast, with one boy going from the bottom to top of his Latin class in only six sessions.

He is a specialist in Entrance Exams, with successful placements at City, Westminster, Ibstock, Dulwich, Harrow, Wellington, and many other top Independent schools. He has also successfully helped multiple Oxbridge candidates prepare themselves for admission, from subject-specific tutoring, to UCAS advice, personal statement work, and interview preparation. He has also designed courses, creating and delivering a ten-day “Pre-IB” course when he was only 19 years old, home-schooling schedules, and holiday revision courses.
