This Paper Includes:
- Reading Comprehension: Students are assessed on their ability to understand and interpret passages of text. Questions may involve identifying main ideas, making inferences, understanding vocabulary in context, and analysing the author's purpose.
- Grammar and Punctuation: Testing students' knowledge of grammar rules, sentence structure, verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, parts of speech, and proper use of punctuation marks.
- Vocabulary: Students may be assessed on their understanding of word meanings, synonyms, antonyms, analogies, and context clues.
- Spelling: This section evaluates students' spelling skills, including commonly misspelt words, homophones, and irregular spellings.
- Composition and Writing Skills: Students will be asked to write a short essay, a descriptive paragraph, a letter, or a story. They are assessed on their ability to organise their thoughts, use appropriate vocabulary and grammar, and express their ideas clearly and coherently.
